The Bridging the Gap initiative aims to enrich the education of our members as well as providing a layered level of learning for mentorship between high school students, pre-pharmacy students, SNPhA members, and National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA) members.

Pre-Pharmacy Liaisons collaborate with campus Pre-Pharmacy Associations to increase awareness of the pharmacy profession. They provide resources and guidance to help students prepare for the pharmacy school application and interview process, supporting their transition into the field.

Hello everyone, I’m Kristin!! I'm a P1 and one of the pre-pharmacy liaisons for the year!! I choose to pursue pharmacy because of the pharmacy profession’s versatility, accessibility to the community, and the inclusion of providing patients with truthful information on their medications and disease states. I joined SNPhA because the organization's mission to ""serve the underserved"" aligns with my goals to promote medication adherence and share information on common diseases in the community, especially in those that are underrepresented. Some of my hobbies include playing the flute, dancing, working out at the gym, going to/watching sports games, trying new food around Houston, and hanging out with friends. I can’t wait to continue working with SNPhA and the PPA organizations to offer more insight and resources on navigating the pharmacy world to pre-pharmacy students!!

Fun Fact: I (almost) learned seven new line dances this summer!!

HI everyone! My name is Mena, and I'll be one of your pre-pharmacy liaisons for this year. I'm currently interested in oncology pharmacy but still exploring the countless opportunities pharmacy has to offer. I enjoy trying different hobbies and spending time with my friends. We have a lot planned out for our pre-pharmacy students; can't wait to meet all of you!

Fun Fact: I lived in Egypt for 9 years before my family moved here!
