The Bridging the Gap initiative aims to enrich the education of our members as well as providing a layered level of learning for mentorship between high school students, pre-pharmacy students, SNPhA members, and National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA) members.
Our SNPhA Chapter Achievement Partners (CAPs) play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and professional growth within our organization. By facilitating chapter collaborations, they create opportunities for members to engage with peers from other SNPhA chapters and exchange ideas.
They also focus on interprofessional development, organizing events and activities that bring together students from various healthcare disciplines. This collaborative approach not only broadens our members' perspectives but also enhances their ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare teams. Through these efforts, our Chapter Achievement Partners help to build a stronger, more connected network of future healthcare leaders, united by a shared commitment to health equity and community service.

Ashley cao
My name is Ashley, and I’m the CAPs Coordinator Co-Chair. I enjoy hanging out with friends, playing pickleball, eating, baking, and shopping. I love taking pictures and scrapbooking because it allows me to document the memories I’ve made through pharmacy school. I also started making a tier list to remember all the restaurants I’ve been to in Houston. What I enjoy most about SNPhA is going to health fairs because I am able to talk to people in the community, hear their stories, and perform blood sugar, cholesterol, and blood pressure screenings.
Fun Fact: Some fun facts about me is that I’m from Hawaii, I have a twin sister, I have two dogs, and I enjoyed watching Inside Out 2 because I related with anxiety and embarrassment.
