The Bridging the Gap initiative aims to enrich the education of our members as well as providing a layered level of learning for mentorship between high school students, pre-pharmacy students, SNPhA members, and National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA) members.

Our SNPhA Chapter Achievement Partners (CAPs) play a crucial role in fostering collaboration and professional growth within our organization. By facilitating chapter collaborations, they create opportunities for members to engage with peers from other SNPhA chapters and exchange ideas.

They also focus on interprofessional development, organizing events and activities that bring together students from various healthcare disciplines. This collaborative approach not only broadens our members' perspectives but also enhances their ability to work effectively in diverse healthcare teams. Through these efforts, our Chapter Achievement Partners help to build a stronger, more connected network of future healthcare leaders, united by a shared commitment to health equity and community service.

Fimi Akinkunmi

My name is Fimi Akinkunmi, and I’m honored to be one of the CAPs Coordinator for SNPhA this year. I joined SNPhA to connect with passionate peers and contribute to meaningful outreach that supports underserved communities through service, education, and collaboration. My passion for pharmacy centers on patient care and education, while I value the science and therapies at the heart of the field, what truly drives me is empowering individuals, especially those in underserved communities, with knowledge and compassionate support. Outside of pharmacy, I love any water-related activities, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. I'm excited for all that we’ll accomplish together this year!

Fun Fact: I enjoy psychological thriller films and dystopian novels. I'm drawn to stories with unexpected twists that challenge the way I think.

Marcus giles

Hi everyone! My name is Marcus, I’m a P2 and I am one of the CAPs Coordinators for this year. I joined SNPhA because I find it heartwarming to be part of an organization that serves the underserved through health fairs. I committed to a career in pharmacy because I find it intriguing to learn about how drugs and the human body work. Some of my hobbies include baking chocolate chip cookies, trying new restaurants, playing video games, and watching horror movies.

Fun Fact: I like to change my keychain accessories every 2 months or so.
