SNPhA Heart Awareness Health Fair

Sunday afternoon UH students partnered with the Cameron Juniel Project to provide services at the Windsor Village United Methodist Church. The Cameron Juniel Project ran by Mrs. Sherri Juniel serves to raise awareness for Sudden Cardiac Arrest in teenage student athletes. As the cardiologists performed free EKG screenings for patients, UH pharmacy students were able to provide the church members with blood pressure and glucose screenings, and education. The event was able to reach many patients as a collaborative effort to raise awareness.
