INFECTIOUS DISEASE WORKSHOP

SNPhA is collaborating with SCCP & APhA to present information about infectious diseases and the critical role that pharmacists play within patient care in these disease states. We will be focusing on HIV, Hepatitis C, as well as other topics. We will conclude the seminar with a Q&A session

SNPhA's 20th ANNUAL ALUMNI DINNER

We will be holding our 20th Annual SNPhA Alumni Dinner this year and it will be on be held on November 3rd, 2018 at 6PM in the SC Ballroom. The theme of the dinner will be "Casino Night" so dress in black, white, gold, or red! Come out, take a break from school, and meet the alumni. It'll be a great networking opportunity as you guys will be able to meet pharmacists from all different fields!

The Alumni Dinner Coordinators will be needing help with tasks leading up to the events and on the day of the event. Please come out to help make this night special. P1s, this will be a great opportunity to start getting involved! Committee members will be assisting with food, games, decorations, music, and much more!

QPR TRAINING: BECOME A CERTIFIED GATEKEEPER

September is Suicide Prevention Month, and the Mental Health Initiative of SNPhA invites you to join us in becoming a certified gatekeeper through our QPR Training. Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) is a nationally recognized suicide prevention program designed to educate persons on how to recognize and respond to the signs of suicidal thinking or behavior. This certification will allow participants to strengthen their communication skills as educators during health fairs. Please RSVP by Monday, 9/24.

KIDNEY EDUCATION CERTIFICATION

Are you interested in chronic kidney disease? Do you want to spread awareness of the disease but do not know where to start? Join the Chronic Kidney Disease Initiative at their health education certification, where you can learn more about the condition and become a certified kidney educator. The presentation will be followed by a short quiz for you to earn your certificate.
