SNPhA's 18th Annual Alumni Dinner & Pre-Pharmacy Reception was held on November 11, 2016 at the University of Houston Student Center Ballroom. This event is held every year to show appreciation to our alumni, faculty and pharmacy representative sponsors for continuously supporting and taking the time to help enrich our student member experience. The night would not have been as great without all of you and for that we would like to extend our appreciation.

Spotlights of the Night

The theme of the night was legacy, which was clearly seen by all of the alumni who came back on this night. Our key note speaker Dr. Sandra How added to this theme as she showed us what it truly means to make a legacy in our personal and professional life.

On this night we also recognized a couple of our members who have been doing great work within the organization.

Pictured above is our Pre-Pharmacy liaison Jennifer Pham being recognized for all the hard work she has put in throughout the semester. Over the past few months, she has been an active part of the chapter as she has taken part in almost every initiative and has helped encourage more Pre-Pharmacy students to be involved.

Pictured above are our Power to End Stroke chairs Julia Roh and Samantha Sangabi. Over the semester, these two have been working hard and were even recognized nationally as the top performing chapter of the month of September.

Pictured above are our Operation Immunization chairs Kristina Nguyen and Michael Mouton. Over the semester, they were nationally recognized as the top performing Operation Immunization initiative of the month for two months in a row.

Pictured above are our Alumni Dinner Coordinators Rica Alba and Nils Tran. Without their hard work the night would not have been as great as it was.

In closing, we all had a wonderful night and hope to see everyone again next year.
