Third General Meeting
Join us for our third general meeting of the semester. We will be discussing upcoming events and ways you can make an impact in the community. Also, we will be having our executive officer elections during the meeting. Come out an support the candidates running for a position.
SNPhA's 45th Birthday
The Student National Pharmaceutical Association just recently celebrated its 45th birthday. Our chapter honored this special occasion by holding the Bissonnet Health Fair. Our Diabetes, Operation Immunization, Mental Health, and Community Outreach initiatives all took part in this event and blood glucose tests were provided during the event. Overall, the event was a blast as our chapter got to celebrate SNPhA's 45th through service!

February Updates
Check out what our chapter has been up to this month!
AMSA Health Fair:
SNPhA and SSHP teamed up for the AMSA health fair which was held at Yolanda Black Navarro Middle School. During the event our members provided education on a number of topics and also provided basic health screening tests.

Angela House:
Our Smoking Cessation initiative went to Angela House for their first session of the year. Our chairs continued where they left off last semester as they work to educate and assist the individuals at Angela House.

University of Houston Satellite Tabling:
Our members took to the University of Houston Satellite to talk to students about important health topics. Our Operation Immunization, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Community Outreach initiatives were present at this event.

Second General Meeting

Remember The Ribbon at Omega House
The Remember The Ribbon initiative started off the new year by volunteering at the Omega House. One of our co-chairs and two other committee members assisted Omega House hospice in completing general housekeeping, providing basic patient care, and providing company for mostly HIV positive patients.
