Whidby Elementary Educational Event
Today, the Diabetes, Cancer and Smoking Cessation initiative teamed up to educate children about general health concerns relating to each topic. The kids were highly engaged and learned a lot about each topic!

Second Team Meeting
Earlier today, UH SNPhA held its second officer meeting of the fall semester. The agenda included an introduction from new officers, updates from each officer/initiative team on upcoming events, a timeline of what's on the plate for our chapter in October.

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Health Fair
Early this morning, UHSNPhA participated in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Health Fair. Students provided blood glucose and blood pressure screenings, along with education on asthma, diabetes, stroke, and vaccines to a primarily Hispanic congregation in Houston. In addition, patients also received the opportunity to register to vote. We truly enjoyed the experience and look forward to continue in the future!

Omega House
