SNPhA participates in World AIDS day

For World AIDS Day on December 1st, SNPhA members had the opportunity to educate the local community at a Walgreens located in the Houston area. customers learned about PrEP and awareness of HIV/AIDS in the youth. The population was mainly underserved. Members interacted  and were able to hear personal stories about how HIV/AIDS has impacted customers lives. Quite a few customers were hesitant about speaking however, many were still be able to use the information that they learned with SNPhA to teach their friends and family. Many customers seemed enlightened at the end of the conversations and were quick to accept the flyers and pamphlets to take home and learn more about HIV/AIDS
